EMERGENCY
As always, in the event of an emergency we will do our best to assist you, and depending on the severity of the emergency, we can treat you! Since we will not have full staff in our office, please call us to schedule a time for your emergency visit. Problems that qualify as an emergency that needs to be assessed and/or treated by a dental professional include but are not limited to swelling of the face, neck, gums; dental pain; trauma to face, jaw, or teeth, including fractures; and signs of infection such as a draining site.
NEW PROTOCOL FOR IN-OFFICE VISITS
Our priority remains the safety of our team, our patients, and our community. Therefore, a special protocol will be in place in our office over the coming weeks to minimize the risk of unknowingly transferring COVID-19 to our team, other patients, and our family members. It will be as follows:

No walk in appointments being taken

Use an alcohol based sanitizer when soap and water are not available

Tele consultations being provided

To minimize unnecessary visit and exposure

To enable patients to have transparency in the treatments that will be provided along with visibility into tentative treatment costs

To ensure treatment chambers are prepared and ready at the time of in-clinic appointments for the treatment to be done

Detailed Patient Screenings for all appointments including COVID-19 Testing if needed (prescription and all formalities will be provided)

Complete Sanitization before entry to the practice for in-clinic appointments

Personal Protective Equipment for Patients, Doctors and Assisting Staff for in-clinic appointments. (Charges would be applied as per actuals)

CDC and ADA issued Sterilization, Disinfection and Infective Prevention protocols put in place

No Wait Policy ensuring minimum contact exposure

No Attendants being allowed with exceptions. (permitted only with prior approval from the practice)

Customized payment plans to ease the liquidity crisis that patients might be facing. Details will be shared by patient coordinators.

Each Dentis Zone team member and patient must self-assess their health daily before coming into the dental office. They should say “No” to all the following questions:

Flu-like symptoms

Close personal contact (without PPE) with a suspected or laboratory- confirmed COVID-19 patient in the past 2 weeks

International travel history in the past 2 weeks
